Since its founder, Pierre-Auguste, five generations have successively perpetuated the family tradition each of them leaving their own mark on this, now internationally renowned, family business.
Such close, powerful and sustainable links have progressively drawn a Boulard family tree with a strong presence, not only of its family figures but also of its local fruits...a rarity even in the Pays d’Auge.
In the heart of the Pays d’Auge orchards and in particular its apple orchards, Boulard is the first to have created a Calvados d'Appellation d’origine contrôlée Pays d'Auge. (a label guaranteeing the quality and the origin of produce). The current market leader in terms of volume for high-quality Calvados, Calvados Boulard now export 80% of their production across the globe.
